    Boot Size

The smallest MKIII boot I've ever seen was 2-2 1/2C. It looked like something people dangle from their rear-view mirror. ;D IIRC the largest in a MKIII I've seen has been 15-16 range. When you eventually get in, you'll be taken care of if your feet fall outside the sizing range for footwear...

Where can i find a current issue CF frag vest for sale?

I have seen these (the Cadpat Gen IIIĀ  FPV) pop up on e-bay at least twice, being sold out of Gatineau no less. Disgraceful. They are stolen property if they're on the civvy market. They're "Controlled Technology, Access and Transfer" (CTAT) and the demilitarization code stupulates total...

    The C9A2 (pics)

I hate to ressurect such an old thread, but my question does not really merit a new one. Any chance somebody could post nice, decent picture or two of the C9A2? (perhaps a pic of the butt in each position?) I would have snapped a pic myself overseas, but the first one I saw was just a couple...

    Temporary quarters in Ottawa?

No Single Quarters or Transient Quarters in Ottawa. I've never heard of anyone staying at Connaught except for pers on courses. (Edit: I believe DCRA may use them in the summer also). Hotels get very good buisness from DND in the NCR. Cheers, Eric

    assault pack suggestions

A lot of decent packs will meet your criteria. The LF RAID and Kifaru Marauder would both do that well. I have a RAID, and IMO, the internal pockets can get annoying, the shoulderstraps are too thin, and could be sewed on to the pack in a more durable manner. It is also a little small for my...

2 US army issue woodland camo kevlar 29 combat vests

jaygt, All I'm saying is dont try peddling your frag vests as "bullet proof vests" in a forum with current and formerly serving soldiers, many of which have been on real two way ranges where real bullets and fragmentations are plentiful. Dont insult my intelligence, and that of the people on...

2 US army issue woodland camo kevlar 29 combat vests

Be very careful what you're saying here. These are not bullet proof vests, they are "Vests, Fragmentation Protective". I'm pretty sure there could be some sort of liability on your part selling these under such a pretence. From what I can rustle up, the insert is "Aramid". No ballistic rating...

Question about Duraflex stealth pouch buckles

Lightfighter: show your fighting loadout A "show your loadout" thread might be informative. Very different. I think it would be cool to see what different people across the CF can get away with deployed and domestically. ;) A "show your issued tac vest with aftermarket pouch and extra...

Issued gear? LMC's (not really gear, but issued) Flight gloves, Goretex socks... and the Camelbak comes in handy depending on what your doing. The Inova microlights can also be nifty. PSCN 6210-20-A07-1655 to 1658 to . I clip 'em on my pack, but you can also look uber cool in KAF if you clip...

    CP Gear OTW Shirt. Review?

Hey All... Just wondering if someone can post a review on the CP Gear OTW Shirt? This review could definately be of use to the boys deploying. http://www.cpgear.com/default.asp?mn=1.19.56&f=pd&pid=604 I figure the shirt has been around for a while, it's seen 2-3 roto's overseas... Are they...

HUGE post deployment sale- SOE, Eagle, EGL, TT & more! Get your kit for tour!

Hmmm... a couple cordlocks and some 1/8th shock cord... pretty simple and effective idea. I like it. Although I'm not on the pointy end, I would think that as well as being hot, the foam inserts for the knees would also chafe quite a bit, especially in the sweaty a$$ heat. Cool mods though...

HUGE post deployment sale- SOE, Eagle, EGL, TT & more! Get your kit for tour!

Hey Phil, A little off topic, but what kind of mods did you have done to the pants? They seem pretty straight forward to me. Just wondering, since when I was over there, the pants were pretty much the least of my concern. I'm assuming of course that the mods you had done were a little more...

    Online "Kit" Websites

Pretty sure the Mortor gloves arent anti-static, so you probably wont see many of them in A/F hands on an A/F base. From what I've seen, Army bases will issue their drivers pretty much whatever gloves they want: Mortor Glove, CVC Glove (my Fav), TCG, CWWG... Probably everything except Flight...
