This is a very good story and one must remember, for every positive story we hear about the military.
There are dozens more that don't come to light.

Its a soldiers ability to react to situations that makes them stand out.
The uniform does that to people.

Its not necessary to say," Keep up the good work".
It comes with the job.

Its nice to know as a hopeful that in a day and age when being a soldier is often looked down upon, there are still some who disagree. The 'small' (Clearly wasn't small to that man, his girlfriend and the soldier) things like this, and the big things too are just damn inspiring.

The NDP would rather that soldier not interfere as he may only make matters worse, and the Liberals would want him to stop interfering and let someone else deal with the problem while they strike a committee to examine the issue of harassment.

Yes, but if you ask the Liberals, the Conservatives want to put soldiers on EVERY bus.

Hmn, I wonder if maybe we shouldn't have a section or topic header for feel good stories?  Lord knows we need them and they certainly brighten up our days to hear them as opposed to the ususal stuff we hear about.
