Sweet! Wanted to see the result of that firefight... and who they fired on seeing as (partially)US Army was going that way.
Here is the Season 2 Preview:

Politician quoted from the Season 2 Preview: "This is the flag of a new country, flying from the Mississippi to the Pacific. God bless the Allied States of America!"

Seems like the story has taken quite an interesting turn; the plot thickens!

Ho ho ho the last night's episode put a nice spin on things :D

The Allied States of America?

Hey, what happened to Canada? I can't believe we'd just sit idly by while our southern neighbour tare themselves to shreds! ;D

Rocketryan

You can watch it again tomorrow (the 16th) on the Space Channel at 1700/5 PM Pacific Time (2000/8 PM ET).

I've watched a few episodes ahead *small spoiler alert* on the internet, and in episode 3 they talk about the Mississippi being referred to as the "blue line" (only one small reference and not at all plot related) because it's lined with UN Peacekeepers from end to end... maybe a future plot branch involving Canadians could arise from here.

As this is fiction and we all know that there is that invisible barrier along the border that keeps it winter twelve months of the year to the north as the Americans enjoy four seasons in a year, and that radioactive fallout has no chance of penetrating that invisible barrier, this could be a plausible scenario.  Tinfoil hats for all.  ;D

However, even episode two hasn't come out yet, but here is the teaser for episode two as well:

Finally saw the episode finale last night. Kinda liked the way it ended, though I am sorry to see the series not continue.

At least we get to see John M. Jackson (who also stars as Admiral Chegwidden in the "JAG" TV series) play the Texas ambassador.

I am also surprised that the Texas ANG F16s were able to shoot down the ASAF F15s without attracting their attention with the ASA pilots detecting a radar lock- a BVR kill?

Honestly, that episode was put together too fast. They could have had a whole episode on how Hawkins an Jake got to Cheyenne. Oh well, good bye Jericho :(

Agreed, a 2 hour episode would have been more fitting.  Just goes to show what passes for good TV these days...Journeyman; gone!  Jericho; gone!  Thank god there's still Big Brother and Dancing With The Stars.... ::)

Ugg I hate CBS, They cancel so many shows because they only get 7 million viewers or whatever..

Good Bye Jericho

So that's it for the series, eh?  Kinda figured it with the lack of a "cliffhanger" like last season.

To me, this season didn't seem as well put together as the first...not as much character or plot development.  And it also seemed like a really short season.  It almost felt like they threw something together to neatly wrap it up to shut the fans up!

Boo CBS!

Edit to add: I guess now CBS can go back to being the CSI Broadcasting Station... :boring: :-X
