I repeat: every missile that makes it through and hits civilians in Israelis cities is a political win for Bibi and his Warhawks and a defeat for Biden and his Peaceniks. Tehran is well within the range of Israel's bombers and the IDF is, I suspect, pretty good at SEAD.

I haven't looked at my international law of conflicts books for a while, but I'm pretty sure that a recognized state's attack on another recognized state constitutes a declaration of war.

The big precedent was called Pearl Harbor, and the initiating state got its comeuppance.
