Earlier in this monumental conflict with Trump, I’ve supported Smith’s lobbying efforts in the States. No more. Her advocacy has shaded into political meddling.

Hell has truly frozen over.

In a perfect world (or a perfect system) I think you're explanation makes sense and would work.

I look at our own country and own system, then think about what happened with ArriveCan, the $216 million FN disappearing act, and all those other billions of dollars that we have no idea where it went to.

If this is what happens in Canada how much faith can we genuinely put in our $272m going to the right people in Bangladesh? I'm sure it's going to someone alright. Helping out Canada? I'm doubtful.

I'm betting most of our foreign aid does an ArriveCan trick. If we're going to insist on sending money outside of Canada we need to track it.

Maybe with a new organization? Department Of Gratuitious Expenditures has a nice ring

This isn’t true though. He’s not going to participate in the proposed TVA debate. He’s absolutely participating in the April 16th French language debate hosted by the Leaders’ Debate Commission. The English one is the next night

But that is not one of the official debates. And weird that TVA was asking for 75k.
