All full-time federal employees are eligible, except for members of the military, employees of the U.S. Postal Service, positions related to immigration enforcement and national security and other jobs excluded by agencies.

"American taxpayers pay for the salaries of federal government employees, and therefore deserve employees working on their behalf who actually show up to work in our wonderful federal buildings, also paid for by taxpayers," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement. But I suspect that many that will take that have factored that in their decision. So far the trump EOs have been having a lot of unintended consequences.
 
SO - I am wondering if JFK, RFK and Teddy Kennedy are rolling in their graves as their stupid relative RFK jr is undergoing confirmation hearings as Secretary of Health (or something like that). His cousin Caroline Kennedy thoroughly denounced him. Whatever faults the three Kennedy brothers had pale in comparison to this moron.
According to CBC he doesn't believe in Germ Theory - which is real science - and the effectiveness of vaccines.

Well, there's your problem. I suggest watching long form interviews with RFK Jr to get a better handle on what he does and does not believe. It might be enlightening.

I've seen a few calls now from "official" people calling for American citizens to be deported, simply because they are speaking out against the new policies.

I can think of something else that started with calls for and eventually resulted in deportations of undesirables.

I'm more certain than ever that MAGA is fascist.

They rescinded it because they immediately got slapped in court. The executive was transgressing on Congress’ appropriations and spending authority. This was not going to go well for them.

I think fights over division of powers between branches and levels is going to be a recurring theme. Anyone who takes issue with our domestic concentration of power in the PMO really needs to recognize that the attempts to seize and consolidate power in the U.S. federal executive is going to put that to shame.

At least indirectly the PMO serves only at the pleasure of Parliament through the Prime Minister (I'd still blow up the whole concept if I was PM). Not so much with a President.

Opinions vary. Clearly the last incumbent of that post didn't have widespread support either. For a country that is the fattest and sickest of the G's, there sure seems to be a lot of opposition to change.
