Angry Wasps
A fallen rock was blocking a route in Afghanistan and EOD decided to blow it up.

A wasp hive was found under the rock and they were not happy!

Starship Troopers anyone?

Watch the Video

Wow, they were pissed! Thanks for the chuckle.

What you wouldn't give for a big can of R-A-A-I-I-D!!  ;D

Hey Moe..EOD takes care of the rocks,

bug killer sorts out the hornets.

Sounds like a combined arms team to me  ;D

Does that not require cross-training?  :)

I'm rather surprised that no has posted this before I guess I  just have a lower threshold then others
BUGS! MR RICO ,BUGS MILLIONS OF EM!

Ugh..... Those things were Gross... I remember watching one fly off carrying a grasshopper.....

damned things were like 4-6 inches long....

one of the ANA got stung by one and was medivaced by air back to KAF!

And people wondered why I would freak out when they came near me.........

on the plus side, the bees wasps and hornets back home no longer bother me...

nor do the spiders...

Those are actually Giant Hornets, not Wasps, there's a video on youtube I think of about 300 of these buggers going into a bee's nest (about 30,000 bee's) and winning!

Not these things... these things are bigger then those hornets in the video on youtube... these things are pure evil. *shudder* still get the heebee jeebees from just thinkin about em!

There's the video, i have seen the entire documentary, and i'm sure that they are one and the same as the video provided above, the hornets in the youtube video are Asian Giant Hornets, they are 2 to 2.5 inches long, thats huge. Oh, and its 30 vs 30,000 not 300 vs 30,000, my bad.
