I need a WWII British Tommy helmet liner in 'at least' a size 7 1/4. If anyone has or knows of someone who has one please let me know A.S.A.P. Thanks.

Do you want a liner for a Mk II steel helmet, or the Mk III?  Some had lift the dot fasteners, others were screwed in.  Have no idea what a "Tommy Helmet" is.

Suggest you get the book TIN LIDS by Roger Lucy if you want to read up on Canadian/British helmets. http://www.servicepub.com

The helmet I have is marked 1943. It's in a size 6 7/8. It's marked VMC II. It has a screw holding the liner in place at the top of the helmet. It has a small cross shaped cushion 'inside' the helmet where the screw that holds the liner to the helmet comes through. I would even consider buying a complete junk helmet with a decent liner in it (in at least a size 7/14).

You want a Mk II liner, I think. Try "What Price Glory" on the web, I believe they make repro liners.  http://www.whatpriceglory.com

Dorosh,
You are a life saver. I finally obtained one, thanks to you! I got it through the site you mentioned. Do you have any idea how long I have been looking for this item? Anyway, thanks so much.
