I found the "tight" feeling goes away if you drink lots of water slooooowly after your run. My trainer suggested G2 as well, since it replaces what you lost and isn't full of sugar. Personally, I like water. It helps with the hunger too, but don't just bolt it down... drink it slow. Good luck reaching your goal. Don't give up.
