Trump administration 2024-2028

More not so funny hilarity: Dr Oz has been appointed to oversee Medicaid and Medicare. That’s just insane.
I wonder which companies he'll have shares in that he'll push as part of this oversight, or what kind of nonsense he'll make up to support bullshit then say it was just facts he was presenting for info. What a hack.

Oh my sides. This is just too funny.

I called it. We’re watching idiocracy happen in real time.
Oh yeah you called it alright. 🤣 You and a handful of others on here couldn’t have been more wrong.

A good match for the public school system ...

Notice a large portion of his appointments are folks from private enterprise? It’s funny the career civil service types are upset about this, i mean how dare anyone other then career civil servants lead change.

And here’s a funny one:

The View had to walk back their salacious claims about Gaetz on the air, no doubt under threat of a punishing lawsuit.

Don’t let that stop you, Remius, from making equally absurd allegations. I understand you’re triggered, and that’s what is expected from the progressive types.

For all the stunts the left orchestrated, they deserve all of this. This is the pendulum coming back at Mach speed. For all the apologists of government malfeasance giving a pass on corrupt behaviour because you didn’t like a person, this is the backlash and it’s deserved. Only a handful of people having been speaking out against this while some of you have cheered it on with glee. Enjoy the ride!

The American cabinet system, like ours, is filled with people from outside the civil service, very often from "private enterprise." In Canada many are more properly classed as career politicians, as distinct from civil servants. In the US there is a much higher percentage from "private enterprise" regardless of which party is in power. What makes the next administration's picks significant is the low quality of those picks. It's not that there is a shortage of qualified and able Republicans available; its just that this administration has a penchant for seeking out clowns. The best that I can say for them is that if your mission is to cripple the US federal bureaucracy, this is the way to go about it. There are already many hard-core Republicans - even MAGAs - already in the civil service who will execute even the stupidest of plans.

Let me be clear though. I fully recognize that Trump made no secret where he wanted to go and what he wanted done and 76 million Americans voted for him, regardless. This time he actually got the popular vote and no one can argue that the American people are not getting what they bargained for. I won't even argue that a correction in government bureaucracy isn't necessary as I constantly argue that its necessary here in Canada. I genuinely hope that things don't go too far under Trump because I'm one of those Canadians who genuinely likes the vast majority of Americans that I've met and I like their country. That's the problem when the clowns are in charge though. Anarchy, and believe me, this Trump administration is anarchy, is hard to control.

🍻

76 million Americans could not bring themselves to vote for Harris/Walz had only 1 other option and they took it.

I don’t for a second believe that the majority of people who voted for Trump actually support the clown show underway. They just detested the clown show they already had and wanted the perversion and Marxism to stop.

And they sure won’t support paying more for everything while their military is going door to door searching for migrants. Not will they support having their health care and social security benefits cut. It’s like Gotham with the Joker in charge.

Wrong about what? I never predicted the outcome of the election. On the contrary I said it could go either way. You’re getting your forum members mixed up.

You watch that drivel?

Sure sure. Absurd. And it won’t.

And hardly triggered. I told you before that you and I would be fine regardless of what happens.

Interested and amused to be sure.

I think he’s actually getting his forums mixed up as well tbh. Something something “read”.

Probably similar to Nancy Pelosi and her trading practices.
