Trump administration 2024-2028

Well considering he gave out a lot of term ending pardons as 45, I guess when his time ends this time, no one should expect that 47’s mean anything then…

Setting precedents like this isn’t really bright.

He will probably be reevaluating this choice as the noose around him closes.
The law means nothing to Trump, except as a way to extricate himself from things he has done to others.

The precedent is whether/when auto-signatures are valid, and whether/when there has to be a manifest involvement of the president in the signing (even if he might have to be reminded what he is signing).

Should (unelected, unconfirmed) staff be capable of signing stuff into law? The question is important regardless whether this actually happened or not - the capability is what's at issue.

That seems a little tin foil ish - based on the fact that President Biden articulated verbally why he did what he did.

Easy now, he’s still got Alina Habba. Providing advice in the validity of a signature is theoretically within her level of competence.
I don't know, I've watched Pawn Stars and seen what their autograph dudes do.

"I don't care what the judges think" would, to my not legally trained mind, appear to adequately demonstrate mens rea in the inevitable prosecution for contempt.

I suspect that quote will appear in a court filing on some sort of interlocutory matter pretty quickly.
