On that line of thinking Alert is a damn pretty far distance too and I am sure no one will complain if he goes there...for a long while.

BoC cut it's prime interest rate again.
GST/HST holiday is in full swing.
Canada Post is heading back to work within days. Christmas is saved!
The homicide rate is the lowest it's been in years, doubtless because of his gun bans.
He's stood up to The Donald.
Our borders are now more secure.
The budget will balance... oh, look over there!

Don't be so sure. If he were in Alert for more than a week, communication would end and we'd find the station turned into Jonestown when we went to investigate. Pass the KoolAid.
 
MP Sean Frazer (L-Central Nova) is resigning from trudeau's cabinet tomorrow. One wonders if trudeau is engineering a by-election to get Mark Carney into the HoC? It's a wildshot given the polling in Central Nova that shows a 17 point lead for the CPC.

FYI rural homicides in Manitoba are twice what they were last year.
