Timeframe before deployment for infantry res.

It's quite a ways away, I know. But I'm beginning training in the PRes Infantry this summer, I'm just wondering approximately how long it takes to be qualified to apply for deployment?

How long will it take you to get your courses completed?  Also, you missed Afghanistan; so you're going to have to wait for the next mission to start up whenever/where ever that may be.


Let's get some time in and a few courses, exercises, etc done before thinking about deployments.

There's always another action around the corner. It may be ten weeks, ten months or ten years. Get trained, keep a high state of readiness and wait for it.

That's your answer. There isn't any more than that.
