"GLENSâ ? Reunion
The Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Highlanders, "The GLENS", are hosting the first "GLENSâ ? Reunion on the weekend of 3-5 Jun 05 at the Cornwall Armoury.
Carrying on the "D" Day Reunion traditions of the First Battalion Association, this GLENS reunion is open to all past and current members of the Regiment, including RSS and members who were attach posted to The GLENS. This will be a great opportunity to tell war stories, :warstory: renew old friendships :-* and catch up on the goings-on of the Regiment.
An organizing committee has been working hard to ensure that a memorable time is had by all and that this will set the standard for future reunion committees to strive for.
The weekend will include a Friday evening Meet and Greet, a Saturday evening Dinner and Sunday Memorial Ceremony. The newly expanded Regimental Museum and Library will be open, as well there will be displays and activities for all attendees to observe and try out. All messes will be open and I am happy to announce that the long awaited elevator has been installed to allow attendees to access the second floor facilities.
For this reunion to be successful, it is important that all members of the Regimental Family attend and if you know of any past Glens which may not know about this yet, please pass this on. This will be a great weekend.
