I just had my Air Factor Medical on Wednesday, Nov 6th and unfortunately, my pilot career is over before it starts. this is because the medical standard is +3.00 for a cycloplegic refraction test in which my left eye is +2.25 however my right eye is +3.75 meaning I fail for both Pilot and ACSO. I'm considering other occupations to continue with RMC however I'm still going through all the decisions. I was wondering what others may recommend as an alternative for Pilot or ACSO if anyone has any input that would be great thanks!
I also had a question for anyone who knows what the cycloplegic refraction test is, can my right eye in the future come to or below a +3.00 or is it possible for LASIK to correct for this?
