ADM(HR) Mil Instruction 07/05 is the one I was referring to in my post (now that I am at work, I found it).

Of course, it only came into effect in July 2005, so if you CT'ed prior to that it doesn't apply. Not sure which regs apply before 2005.
It states that PFTPS is calcuated using 1 for 1 Cl B/C, and 25% of Cl A time. This calculation is for leave, skilled status, and eligibility for different programs (OT, subsidized trg, commissioning plans).
But like dapaterson said - different calculations apply for other purposes.
AND - a CT (ie a direct transfer from one component to another) is administered differently from a release from one component and re-enrollment in another. The discussion on this tread has migrated to a discussion on CT from the original question, which was related to re-enrollment.
