With the new screening process if you are applying to be an operator ((SOA, SO COXN, SO, CBRN Op (NCM)) it says an interested applicant must wait until a CANFORGEN is published.
http://www.cansofcom.forces.gc.ca/cr/ssp-psps-eng.asp

If someone is interested in being an operator (minus CBRN Op) they skip phase 2 and go to phase 3 where it states "Upon receipt of your screening message from the hiring CANSOFCOM unit"

What is the screening message? Do they mean the CANFORGEN or is it something that cansofcom recruiting would generate on an individual basis once someone self-identifies and send it to them?

Where could someone find copies of the CANSOFCOM Application for Service, CANSOFCOM Training & Experience Resume Addendum and the  Consent for Disclosure of Criminal Information?

I believe the forms can be found on their DWAN website,  if not contact the unit you are interested in - recruiting contact info should be listed for each unit.  The internet site won't have too much info regarding recruitment.

DWAN website was the key, thought they were found on the open net before. Thanks

They were.  They changed that sometime within the last year, probably getting too many weirdo's outside of the CF (or maybe inside the CF >:D ) sending them stuff.

I think that PHASE III paragraph is worded poorly, reading it over several times it would seem that this screening message would be sent for people applying for anyone applying for support/specialist role, as a NOI is sent in PHASE II.  Applicants for doorkicker don't fill out and send an NOI, they jump to PHASE III.  No NOI, no way for CANSOF to send you anything, since you haven't sent them something first.

I think it is part of the "pre-selection training"!!!  Figuring out just how to apply is "Step 1"...

That confused me too. I'm guessing the canforgen must contain some type of self notification step.

What they mean by skipping straight to Phase 3 is simply you don't need the screening message, you fill out the paper work and submit the application once the CANFORGEN for Operator selection comes out, in the summer time.  Hope this helps, cheers
