Hello,

:cdn: Let me start by saying that i love Canada and that i will give my life for it anytime anywhere....  :cdn:

I been trying to get into the army and serve Canada for very long time but life have delayed me ...

I was told and also on the forces web site ... that you need 15 credit > minimum Grade 10 "I'm in ON"  - I have 23 Credit on my Ontario transcript but when i applied and went to the interview the requiter looked at my  transcript and told me it must say on it that you have grade 10 credit "mine dose not show that at the moment..." so I'm back in school ( adult school ) and in few days I'm getting my grade 10 ENG credit plus 2 other credit so that will make my credits total of 26  :warstory: ...

In few days my transcript will show Grade 10 ENG and total of 26 Credit  ... so my question is would that be acceptable... "Army Communication and Information Systems Specialist" if not what other grade 10 Credit must show on my transcript? ...

Thank you

"long live Canada"

Finish High School all of it not just the bare minimum. You are competing against other applicants who do have high school completed and even college/university.

you are absolutely right... and i can't argue with logic ... the only thing is I'm 25 turning 26 in OCT and i feel that i'm getting old ... and i always wanted to join the army and if it dose not happen ... i know i will hate myself forever :D... The thing is i will not stop or drop school until I'm sure I'm in ... but if i would be given the honer of serving Canada i would no wait even 1 sec... i hope you or someone can still help me find out what i would need on my transcript ... Thank you for your reply  :camo:

If you haven't finished high school seriously consider a GED.  Might help your chances to get in and well it is just the smart thing to do.

Yes you are absolutely right ... I have the GED Book ... I guess its more logical then just grade 10... I should just book a test and go for it :)... Thank you for your advice and tips ...  :cdn: ;D

Whats being said is that you should complete your GED first before applying. This will look much better on your CAF application. What happens if you get injured and are released from the CAF or leave for another reason? You won't get a job civi side until you have high school completed at minimum. Focus on finishing school and go from there.

Yes you are right ... That's exactly what i will do ... I'm actually doing very good in school right now... many thanks for all your wise tips and advice and I'm glad i came here ... sometimes we need the extra push ... :cdn:
