Hi, it's probably not just myself that's having the same issue. 3 years when I joined, I had a very good hearing
and now I'm having trouble recognizing what the buddy is saying when he's facing me less than 3 feet away.
I didn't file any CF98 as I do not know where this problem originates from but its starting to bother me a lot.
There were few occasions where I temporally lost my hearing during traing for over 15 minutes but I'm not sure if they are the reasons.
In 2009 I go to be one of those "lucky" ones that got to blow up a claymore and I couldn't hear anything for half hour or so then
a live fire exercise I was one rifleman sandwiched between a Carl G and a C6 and I remember being switched to Assault -5mins to the Hour.
During the assault I didn't even know it started until casings from my buddies started flying at my face. I didn't even notice that I couldn't hear anything
and I got the hearing back when we were consolidating.
How should I proceed with this? Is this something to go to the chain of command or MIR?
I've been frequenting the monfort hospital recently for a fractured bone and the specialist told me he doesn't know how the admin part goes but i could make an appointment with a GD for check up
