Absolutely Beautiful.
I wonder if he plans on flying it RC?  Lots of time and work on a old lady.  She'd look at lot better if she was camouflaged with invasion stripes.
Then again, I've always loved the old Spit/

One Question:  Is it a Mk IX with that pointed tailplane? IIRC all Mk IXs were  made by re-engining Mk V air frames. Mk V had a more rounded tailplane. I'm not putting down this masterpiece of a model...don't get me wrong!!

Cheers,

Amazing! I'd love to see it fly in R/C. It must weigh a ton though. I have a .60 sized Spitfire Mk II with a Saito 1.00 4 stroke engine on it....It's a tank - approx 10lbs.

Spitfire is one of my all time favorites. Beautiful work.

Hey Ginge... think you can do something like this in armour?  ;D

Whoa, that is nice. I think if I did something like that in an AFV, the mounties would be paying me a visit! Afterall, a 120mm main gun in 1/6 scale could still ruin your day!
