FYOP experience

Not a female,

But FYOP itself is intense, pretty much everyone I've spoken to unanimously agrees it is harder than Mod 1 of BMOQ. It usually involved waking up to loud music playing followed by PT and short timings (Quick showers, 5 minutes to prep for inspection that kind of stuff, some of which by design you won't meet), team building exercises, and occasionally getting a presentation introducing you to some of the resources at RMC (try not to fall asleep or you'll be in deep shit), you will get lots of corrective PT throughout FYOP (pushups, planks etc.) usually because you'll mess something up or someone else does.

Things tone down once classes start, the morning routine is the same but you'll probably have classes from 8:00am-4:30pm assuming you're a science/eng student. Arts students will have a lighter schedule, but are expected to still be doing something productive during the hours they don't have class (Studying, maintaining uniform etc.). After that time, FYOP resumes and you'll probably have whatever the staff has cooked up for you that day usually change parades (good memories lol). You'll also have protected study hours from 8pm-10pm, staff (theoretically) cannot interrupt this time for anything. You are supposed to be studying during this time and staff will come around to check if you are, then lights out. Usually, near the end of FYOP, you'll get some practice for the obstacle course and spend time with your assigned squadron getting a plan together. FYOP ends with the O-Course. After that, RMC is essentially a normal school with uniforms, you may get some inspections afterwards but in my experience, this is just to make sure your room is cleaned and not a total piece of shit.

Every major event that occurs during FYOP, you'll probably be spending a good chuck of time planning and preparing for these :
Squadron Commander's inspection (Done by the Officer that is responsible for your squadron)
Division Commander's inspection (Done by the Officer that is responsible for your division, which is 3 squadrons)
Commandant's Challenge (Kind of like an O course mini)
O Course

Congrats! you survived FYOP.
-Don't talk back to staff
-Do as you told
-Play the game

and you'll be fine

Good luck!

-Current First Year about to finish his first semester :)
