Frequency of Shack Inspections

Hi all,  just wondering the frequency and thuroughness of the shack inspections for thoose of us NOT ON COURSE..

never really i mean on range weekends or taskings we never had inspections just clean up before you leave and everything was good i mean you don't need to make your be and hospital corners or any of that jazz

It will depend who you work for. Last year those staying in the L-Lines at CFSME had weekly (I believe) just make sure that your bed is made, no need to have hospital corners just make it look neat and also hide those empty flasks/beer cans and porn mags.

Other than that you should be fine.

Well for times like that obviously you wouldn't have any inspections cause you're not there long enough. Any other time. it will depend what school/unit you are working for.

Ok well thats still in a school...I was aimingf more for thoose of us in single quarters at our posting.  Thanks though.

Depends on the RSM, in pet last year, a few guys were breaking beer bottles and furniture in the hallways so since the others in the shacks didn't get a grip on the offenders, everyone had a by the bed inspection every morning until things quieted down.If everyone acts like adults, they will be treated as adults.

Usually the RSMs go thru the room once or twice a month. But its just to make sure your room isn't a fire or health hazard...If its tidy, then generally they are happy.
