Heya, all.  I don't really have much to comment on this, but I figured I'd fire off the link, and see if anyone has any strong opinions either way.

So true. We live in a democratic state where the armed forces does not dictate policy to the government, the government dictates policy to the armed forces. That is the best way to have it. But at the same time, our leaders (aka politicians) need to realize that they must provide the forces with strong, directed leadership and give us the resources to follow their direction. Too long has this been lacking.
