DP1 and 2 armoured recce

on my joining instructions it states i require a valid driver's license to take this course.  i have one but it is only a learners license, is this going to be acceptable?

There were people on my DP1 (and Dvr Whl) that did not have a license at all.

I cannot talk about other province, but I have a Friend, who did armoured crewman last summer with no valid driver's license.

The military and the civilian are 2 different thing. Then again, Quebec is "special"

I had the same worry myself, only having my Learner's License as well.
A recruit that is even older than me didn't have a license period and our SGT told us just to remember that before we do anything in the army we'll be trained on it first. You could be professional drivers for 20 years, or never have stepped foot behind the wheel and you'll receive and require the same training.

I would recommend getting some practice in though, it can't hurt can it?
