Desert CADPAT for Afghan Mission

I was looking at the new desert camo that the DND will be issuing. I must say, there is some very nice equipment in CADPAT AR. Is it certain that the 1 800 soldier deployment will be wearing CADPAT AR, and if so, which items will be in CADPAT AR?

From another forum:

"Apparently, in addition to the shirt, pants and hat in CADPAT(AR), a helmet cover, load bearing vest, rucksack cover, rank slipons and neck scarf will also be issued."

Thet should but it doesn‘t seem likely for 2 reasons...

1. most of that contigent is just recieving the CADPAT ICE, TV, and ballistic vest in temprate design,
2. they are all scheduled to be in Afghanistan in less then 60 days.

Probably the next roto will get it all (the Vandoos always get the good kit first...)
