Can anyone give me (or link to me) some information on the Canadian Joint Incident Response Unit selection process?
Thanks, but it didn't exactly help.AmmoTech90 said:

I'm not a cadet.-Skeletor- said:Find the CJIRU DWAN(search CJIRU or CANSOFCOM) website; all the info regarding recruiting will be on there as well as their recruiting section email and phone number.
*edit just realized you aren't in the CF*
AFAIK you are still a cadet, and not a CF member. Don't worry about CANSOFCOM units as you are a long way from even applying to one.

How to join CANSOFCOM
If you are interested in working in a unique environment, CANSOFCOM can provide that challenge to you whether it is in a support role or in one of the operator focused roles.
Civilian Applicants
There are no direct entry programs into CANSOFCOM units. The personnel in these units have a minimum of two years in the Canadian Forces, and have demonstrated that they have the special attributes and training desired to fill these demanding roles. If you think that service in CANSOFCOM is your preferred career path, you are encouraged to contact your local Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre for more information on careers in the military.
CF Applicants
CANSOFCOM units recruit directly from the CF (Regular and Reserve Force) for a variety of employment. The CANSOFCOM method of selection is dependant on the unit and the position sought. If you wish to apply to CANSOFCOM you are directed to the CANSOFCOM Screening Process. If you wish to obtain more information about these employments you are directed to the following units Recruiting and Selection cell or you can attend an information session.
