  The BC Employment Standards Act as of July 2009 does appears to protect reservists for operational duties.  I will submit full document for those interested.  There are certain stipulations to the agreement but there is protection... finally.  Min requirements are four weeks notice,  etc etc...

I went with the Matterhorn 1998 Marine Infantry boots.  These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn.  Feels like your wearing slippers... not cheap though.

That's perfect Eye in the Sky.   Being loaded onto Winter Warfare Course.  I don't have a lot of snow where I'm from so this should be good fun.

  Ya... 31 years in the Regs and still going...what does he know...   Can't speak for the Air Force or Navy ... Although my uncle was in the Air Force for twenty seven years... He never had a bad thing to say about the reserves... just the Army lol... but that was all in good fun ;D

  I'm shocked that this is new... really... most of my family has served in the Regs and the reserves i thought this was common knowledge... My cousin is a Captain and he perceives reservists to be males in their twenties that live in their parents basement... that is just something I have heard...
