When do they first assess/ sign you a language profile? Before BMOQ or after? I am going Mars and just wondering if i would be going to SLT before my Mars courses.
There is another thread that has just recently been posted for Ephedrine , just sounds like a nasty concoction of energy to me, I wouldn't think it is good for ya but I am obviously not a Doctor.
As was mentioned it is much easier with your hands closer together, I would recommend keeping them 2-3" apart to start till you can bang out 5 than start moving them further apart until they line up with your shoulders.
Recruiters told me the Navy is having some initiative this year and holding their own BMOQ at the end of may out in Victoria, which is proabbly what this is, however since i had to attend NOAB the end of may i wouldn't be elligible.
I don't think your GPA will come in to effect to be honest, the cfrc told me they are pretty hard up for these guys , and said I qualified with my science degree. My recruiter being a marine engineer. Once you get merit listed you do have to go to NOAB though.
When I was in for my pilot interview last week the recruiters were really pushing MARS on me , and it looks like I may be going to the NOAB end of May, no guarantees yet they say. I have some family members reasonably high up in the Naval community which is one of the only reasons i was leaning...
I had my pilots interview yesterday, 0 Deo Pilots, 0 ROTP Pilots , and 0 CEOTP Pilots being hired for the 2009-2010 Fiscal year. To large of a backlog waiting to go was his answer. We went ahead with the interview anyways and said there was no harm in getting me on my way to being Merit Listed...
Sometimes people just like to know. Its a comfort thing , like you don't go walking around strange rooms with the lights off, ya like to know whats in there.
