For an exchange, what mark should you have recieved on your NSCE?

It wouldn't be a low score, just not the highest. Well above 80 total average would be required.

    CadetPat field uniform

Papke, the buttons are now all black and look vastly superior to the previous "granny buttons" Lerch, the pockets are not reinforced.

Im going to be honest there are several pages of this thread I haven't read, so perhaps this is old news....... but they changed the buttons!!! Now they're just black. Looks way better.

    Teaching Drill at NSCE

Just ask the Drill Assessment Officer what they want, I've heard both arguments for anad against it. Reading the 201 I'd take attention/at ease to be done in two squads, but that said when I taught it I just did it as one movement, it was faster and just as effective.

    Teaching Drill at NSCE

Can some one elaborate on this DEER technique? Ive never heard of it?

    Teaching Drill at NSCE

Short answer... yes However, it looks really really bad. NSCE, I understand is very intimidating but remembering the simply movements and order to teach them for an NSCE lesson is relativly simply. CIC, for all squads, and CIC with "I Call You Call No Call" on the last C. It's that simply...

    Your "RIGHT" to vote *YANK*

I've only scrutinized for a provincial election, but if it is the same Federally as it is here in BC the scrutineer at the actual polling point can't challenge you once you've been accepted with the card.

    Your "RIGHT" to vote *YANK*

I worked for Elections Canada during the last election in a hospital. There they will let you vote for/in any riding you can prove residency in, more or less no questions asked. Perhaps you could try going to a hospital and speaking to the Elections Canada staff. My dad is doing the exact same...

    IRISH 2ND BATTALION ARMY CADETS

He is right, they technically are the only Irish in Canada, at least as far as I am aware. 2381 doesn't, technically qualify as an Irish CC, because the colours went to the BCR, HOWEVER the traditions, battle honours of the Vancouver Reg't (The Irish) folded into the BCRs as well to keep the...

Transferring to Army cadets from Sea!

If they had legitimate reason to transfer in RSCU (P) we can not take their rank away, so I assume those Cadets just did it for the sake of doing it. You canĀ  however dictate their training level. I'm sure 1725 did it correct, Capt. Banks is on the ball! Cheers

    Army Cadet Regulations

You're right, that's actually a carry over from the CW discussion on it.

Perhaps some one on this board will be a senior SCdt at a CSTC and can get us that number, wouldn't that be fun? LOL

Transferring to Army cadets from Sea!

Probably a better question for Cadet-World, which you already did. It's important to know where you will be starting in Army Cadets and just ensure that you're being treated 'fairly' through the process if you're transfering for a legitimate reason. I'm not sure what region your from, but I...

    Fundraising for Cadet Corps

This wasn't as much fundraising as cost cutting, but Tim Hortons has 'sponsored' (in an unofficial manner) several Cadet Corps' ACRs so that there is no expense for food, and they also generally give a donation of about $500. One thing a lot of Corps don;t do but is ussually pretty easy an...

    CadetPat field uniform

It comes from D Cdts... I assume that a "big" organization but the badges get sent straight to the CSTCs from D Cdts, apparently they shouldn't be in the supply system of the individual CSTCs. They come in the same "baggie" as an RCACC "cookie cutter" (the brass you refered to in the original...

    Army Cadet Regulations

I cited a national document, and stated seperatly Pacific Region's C7 ammunition allocation method. The add on was from RSCU (P) where cadet units can recieve an entitlement to C7 ammunition, meening it's not from the Affiliated unit (which I think it can also be from). This is also how CIC...

    CadetPat field uniform

Argh I can't modify my posts b/c I was bad... so here's another post... If you take a look at CSTC Course Training Plans (I'm not sure if they're online?) it's a very good way to see a lot of Army Cadet Training material that isn't covered in the reference book or at the LHQ's annual Cadet...

    CadetPat field uniform

The ref book isn't a complete guide to Army Cadet training. Like the patrolling you do in CLI (I don't know if they do it in CL anymore, I didn't go on the FTX) it fits into the catagory of: - taught only at the CSTC - or lessons that still exist in the programme's MLP but aren't really easily...
