Commissioning Scroll problem (havn't received it after 3 years)

I'm the RSS guy filling the Adjt's desk at a Reserve Unit. I figured I may be able to cheat having to hunt through DIN for a POC on this :)

Commissioning Scroll problem (havn't received it after 3 years)

Good Morning Fellas, I was selected for the CFRP in 2009. After approx 5 months on the CFB Trenton BTL, I was posted to a Unit in Gagetown. Fast forward to 2012, I still haven't received a Commissioning Scroll. I'm now in the NCR so I figure this is good time to try and request one. I suspect...

Coming Soon to an MRE near you

I was part of the Range Staff for the "Gum Trial" in Petawawa in 2003. I don't remember the specifics of the entire trial, but after a few days of sleep deprivation, the users would arrive at the Range well after dark. They would then lay on the Firing Point and wait for their Target to pop up...

Wrist Watch Recommendations - Merged Thread

Doubt any of these can be found in a store. All were purchased either on EBay or an online shop. Either way, they are all basic analogue watches with no other function than Time and Date. Sounds like some sort of Suunto is what you're after.

MILTARY DRILLS, PT - "Get 'Er Done": Seriously???

I think I deserve a kick back for all the exposure his add is getting now. Rex-Qwan-Do only had 25 hits when I found it.

MILTARY DRILLS, PT - "Get 'Er Done": Seriously???

I know... I know. I can't fault him for not taking well aimed shots with those blanks :D Apparently Body Armour and a Helmet is for the weak.... Nevermind a shirt.

Wrist Watch Recommendations - Merged Thread

I have a 3 watch rotation for Army stuff: Both a Traser P6505 Titanium and a Marathon TSAR for work, and a CWC G10 for everything else. The Traser and Marathon both use Tritium Tubes for illumination. All are pure military watches. None are cheap, but they are very very sturdy Quartz...

    iPhone data usage

Oh, and an OT point. Mods, when is the Mobile version of this site gonna come? Lots of good and easy to implement apps like Tapatalk etc out there. As I find myself using my iPhone more and more around the house to surf, I visit "pinch and zoom" Forums like this less and less.

    iPhone data usage

My Wife and I share 1 GB per month (iPhone 3GS and a BB Curve). Neither of us are teenaged "Power Users", and we have never come close to hitting the 1 GB mark. My use consists of streaming music while sitting at my desk using some of the radio station apps, and settling the odd Cliff Claven...

    Vehicle Serial Numbers

Once you find your Serial Numbers/CFRs, you can post them on Maple Leaf Up and someone may be able to help you out with some Holding Unit History: http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14402&page=7

    Vehicle Serial Numbers

There is no Database available to the public. However, some CF/DND folks can access various databases that may contain some history on vehicles relating to past Holding Units, Modifications, Repairs/Rebuilds and Disposal/Auction info. The Iltis is easy, the CFR is actually the last 7 digits of...

Wanted: Red Seatbelt Decal found in DND/CF Vehicles during 80s-90s

Bad Fuel Filter.... No kidding. I don't understand why the issue Filter had passages twice the size of the Carb Jets, needless to say I run something a bit more effective: I may end up having to go with a repro decal as a last resort, but figured i'd give this forum a shot. Thanks

Wanted: Red Seatbelt Decal found in DND/CF Vehicles during 80s-90s

No need to apologize. There seemed to be alot of urban legend floating around while they were in service. Everything from it being a "Cheap Jeep" disposable replacement for the Willys/Kaiser M38A1, to the whole Roll Over bit, so nothing would surprise me really :). I was at a show with it today...

Wanted: Red Seatbelt Decal found in DND/CF Vehicles during 80s-90s

Hey Fellas, OK, i'm at wits end with this one. Just putting the finishing touches on my 1974 M151A2CDN "Jeep". I have nearly everything for it now to make it period correct for 1986 except for that damn Red/Black Bilingual Decal "Seatbelts must be worn while vehicle is in motion... CFAO **-*"...
