To throw a few questions out there.......... Has anybody heard any bad things about the 5.56 in ass-cracka-stan? stopping power and such? I always thought we had a slightly heavier and hotter round the the US but now I am hearing different.

I recently got the oppurtunity to look at one of those. sweet!!!! we would do well just to buy the mags for the things(The followers don't tilt and wobble like ours.)

Everything we have is an improvement over the last. but I do think we should do things like the Americans..........if its our cam pattern ..... we should be allowed to wear it .......it can't look any sillyer than the "cad pat Fleece" ....I am suprised we just didn't contract Harris to make cad...

Brownings like the 1911 are old warhorses and reliable (if you have a good example of one,) then you have a good weapon, yes our brownings are old, but  put a new sig and a new browning side by side you have two good weapons. besides your typical IBTS standard for pistol shooting is lacking...

BTW  i am fond of the lee enfield but its not a "great" sniper rifle. it was good in its day but a winchester mod 70 or a a 700 with  is what i see at most comps. and realize  that assault rifles are generally personal  weapons and usually only good to 5 or 600m anyway simply because of the 5.56...

I Shoot the C7 or M16A2 family in competition, and I don't find anything wrong with it. Its actually pretty good for what its designed to do. i have also had it in the field and you do have to take care of it like anything else. mind you the M-16 had its own share of teething problems. Vietnam...

NCDS are ok being made of nomex but  I think it looks kind of impractical the US is going to  navy BDU's I don't think Cam is a good idea but only the navy would give you something you have to iron and call it "combat dress"
