Well, I've figured out some things, and talked to some people and I actually may be able to get back on platoon instead of get released, which is my main goal now, so thanx for all the info and I'm going to try again! Can't wait!!! Thanx a lot. ;)

I've been on PAT platoon in St-Jean for over one year because of pelvic fractures, which take quite a while to heal and was wondering, why they are med releasing me under a permanent category if it is not a permanent injury?  Can they do that?  What can I do now, I already have my release date. ...

Well, my aunt is working in Cold Lake right now and there are like 200 people on PAT right now, so they're trying to get rid of people.  I think I might have a chance.  Do you know what info I should get beforehand so that I will have a better chance of getting it?

I recently hurt myself in the eighth week at BMQ and I got put on a six month category.  I was wondering if  anyone knows how attached postings work?

Here's the view from the kids' point of view. I was the child in a military family (mom, dad), for all my life.  We moved every three years, all across Canada.  It is hard for kids to adapt like that, but it makes them stronger more developed people in the end.  I made friends all across Canada...

But, if u buy and bring everything beforehand, do you need to buy anything at Canex?  Could I just use the money for my bills if I don't need anything?

I had to go to a civilian optometrist as well and my vision is perfect.  I think they just want to make sure and have professional tests done.  I also had to have lots of extra tests done.

  I've wanted a career in uniform for as long as I can remember.  It's a family tradition and I could never picture myself doing anything else.  There is so much room for advancement and a future.  The pay is great and the benefits really couldn't get any better.  I am really looking forward to...

My BMQ start date at St. Jean is the 6th of February(I leave on the 4th).  Sorry, don't know about any others.
