New page

My name is Jack jr. van Gemeren, and I consider my hometown being Petawawa, Ontario. I don't have any actual military experience, but being an army brat, I do understand some of the culture and history behind Canada's Armed Forces. For eight months of the year, I'm away at Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario pursing a Honours Environmental Geography Degree. North Bay is the seventh place I have lived in my life:

Calgary, Alberta
Denver, Colorado
Lahr, Germany
Chilliwack, British Columbia
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Petawawa, Ontario
North Bay, Ontario
I was in the process of joing the Army Reserve in North Bay, Ontario but, halted the process because of heavy school studies. I plan on restarting the process as soon as I can get organised enough to give a serious commintment. My main pet project at army.ca is the Reserve unit list. I found that information on the locations of army reserve units was pretty spotty.
