As an afterthought! :warstory:

Just so we can keep this in perspective, if that is possible…
Let’s be realistic, this is a double-edged sword. I am not going into it to deeply, however. We are dealing with two people who have the support of the medical community WRT what is happening in their lives. On the other extreme, where does it stop?
In the abstract, how many people truly have the courage to face their darkest secrets and to make changes accordingly?
We have a lot of soldiers down with physical and psychological injuries, in our society of today; many find comfort on either extreme of the opinion pendulum. WRT to PTSD, if you had it, would you not want the CF and VAC to do everything for you to get your life back to a semblance of normalcy? If you lost a limb, wouldn’t you want the ability for mobility? These are handicaps that we expect care for.
So what makes Durand different? Look at the big picture…
This is a Pandora’s box if ever there was one, but it falls into what is socially acceptable and why would you draw a line? After all, is not the CF a microcosm of Canadian Society
(tongue in cheek)?
Forgot to add, ""Let the Games Begin, release the Lions".
