What is involved in getting married in the military?

If and when I get married, what are the administrative procedures involved? Do I have to use my married last name (order new name tags) or can I maintain my maiden name but on paper use my married name? I'm a bit confused and would appreciate any input. Thanks.

The name that you use in the CF must be your legal name so if you marry and change your name then that will be your name in the CF.  If you do change your name, legally, then you provide the information to your Unit Records Section and they will take the appropriate administrative actions.  You will be required to order new name tags and have your ID card changed.
