Army Cadet Leader – Marksman  (Connaught ACNSTC)

Aim: To teach the knowledge and skills required of an NCO, provide course cadets with opportunities to develop their leadership skills and styles and to supplement corps marksmanship training by enhancing marksmanship skills in order to achieve a performance level which permits participation in national level competitions.

Length: 6 weeks

Qualifications Received:

    * Completed summer training course prerequisite for promotion to Sergeant
    * Eligible to attend Army Cadet Warrant Officer qualifying courses
    * Standard attained in Army Cadet Fitness Test
    * Depending on performance, cadets may be offered a position on the Cadet Leader Instructor Marksman Course to be conducted the following summer.

Red Star Cadets who attended a Basic Army Cadet Series Course and demonstrate marksmanship ability shall be given preference for loading
