Ford Motor Co. announced that it would no longer participate in an annual survey from an LGBTQ advocacy group and would not use quotas for minority dealerships and suppliers. Additionally, Starbucks, Tractor Supply, and John Deere are among the corporations that have made significant changes to their DEI strategies in 2024. Starbucks dropped a bonus linked to DEI goals, Tractor Supply stopped submitting data to the Human Rights Campaign, and John Deere decided to discontinue its support for external social or cultural awareness events.
