Does anyone know the selection dates for 2008?
and / or also when the next few BMQ's start up??

Well I don't know, but i would really like to know. But from what I understand they just start a BMQ when they have enough people so there would be no way of telling. But I could be wrong, that's a big could be.

Selection dates for what programme:

Ref F NCM and Officer are selected two ways depending if they are OSL or NSL.

Open Selection List (OSL) - vacancies are assigned to the CFRC and can be selected locally by the Production / selection staff.  This is normally doneweekly or bi weekly to fill BMQ and BMOQ vacancies

National Selection List (NSL) - vacancies are con trollled by HQ in Borden and are selected during scheduled boards which usually occur every 5-6 weeks. Some specialist Officer boards, Medical, Legal, Bioscience, Dental are usually once a Year.

BMQ and BMOQ dates set  a ear in advance but are activated only as needed. The BMQ course starting 27 October actually has three Anglo serials starting same day. The BMQ's are opened and we are expected to fill them. When they are 75% full a new one opens.

BMOQ course NORMALLY run January, May and August/ Sept. Fewer courses and fewer starts as there are fewer Officier positions to fill.

Next BMQ date to fill is 10 Nov as of Friday 24 Oct.

P  Res  BMQ and BMOQ dates are run by the Brigade and Navy Reserve Areas so their dates vary greatly, the unit you are applying to will know.

It is possible however the dates I gave were for Anglo courses. The Franco courses don't start as often. If you are ready to go right now then go to the Recruiting Centre and tell them you can go on short notice. They should be able to give you an idea when the next course loadings are.
