In the skies over Basra, a crack squad of highly trained RAF Regiment snipers have been hard at work supporting ground troops and Immediate Response Teams (IRT) under fire from Iraqi militia. Report by Simon Williams.
 
Well I'll be... I would have thought that sniping from a helo would be very impractical.

Lazy friggin' RAF will do anything to avoid having to crawl through the slime with diapers on like a real sniper...  ;)
 
They use bolts from a chopper?  Wouldn't that be more of a pain in the arse than it's worth?

Yeah no kidding......standing w/ the C7 in St Jean last year was hard enough to keep a nice spread.....lol imagine while your flying?
