Hi

I have been recently turned down by the Canadian Military due to being allergic to two types of hornets. It was sad way to see my dream  career end before it even started. I figured that most nations would hold the same medical standards protaining to recruits having an allergy. By the way I am not deathly allergic but I do need to carry an epiee pen, or I break out in hives. So I am just making sure before I give up on a career in the military, that no other commonwealth countries or the USA would accept me in the their army(perferably combat arms) or as a pilot in their air force. I know my chances are slim but I want to make sure I have checked every possiblity before I totally shut the door on a military career.

Thanks in advance

I would think that they would be around the same standards. But different country equals different laws and proceedures. You may be able to find out some information at the following links.

Good Luck in your research :salute:
