Hi,
I have a question regarding joining the CAF. I've been medicated in the past for anxiety (5+ years ago) but have been working (while on disability) while getting off medication as I have improved and don't see a proper need for it. My mental health is better than ever, and there's nothing blocking my ability to work to my full capabilities. The trigger of the anxiety at the time was a passing of a family member (10 years ago) and other family related issues, but I'm long past that phase. Does the CAF allow people who have had previous medical history like mine join? I have read things like, needing to be off medication for 6 months, 12months, but realistically, do you think I would be rejected? Currently have an application processing and it's been 2-3 months. I'm not sure if that's a normal amount of time, but was curious if I would just be flat out rejected when the medical examination comes.
Thank you
