These pics were taken along the way in my recent month long trip to Europe (April 2007)
Military history wasn't intended to be the focus but it somehow morphed into that. Those D-day beaches and museums can really suck up the days. As can those amazing tank and air museums in England.

From the Canadian perspective you'll see pics of Dieppe, Vimy Ridge, Juno Beach, etc. Lots of moving photos of the main Canadian WWII cemetaries. These are amazingly powerful places. The picture above is a Canadian flag that I left at a Canadian grave near Caen.

Some great photos both from an information point of view and some that definately make a person pause and reflect on past actions.
