A stray comment on air this morning about Trump's Republican supporters becoming the "MAGA Party", has me wondering if he may have split the Republican Party into two.

I don’t know. If anything MAGA can say what they have is working. Pretty sure MAGA is the party now.

The Dems have more introspection to do. Maybe it means trying to absorb those republicans that don’t see themselves with MAGA?

I think that started a while ago: Republicans publicly not supporting him in the campaign, and the MAGA folks.

The problem is that the non-MAGA Republicans now know that they can’t win without MAGA support, so they fall in line.

Isn't this par for the course for the Republican party in the last 2 or three decades? First it was the Tea Party, and now it is MAGA. The only significant difference this time is the splinter group became the largest of the groups.

I think you have that backwards. It's the democrats that line up like automatons when Pelosi or Schumer crack the whip.
So the Republicans fall in love…with Trump? Is that it?

The other GOP primary candidates (Haley, Christie, etc) seemed to fall in line pretty quick after they lost to Trump…
