Canadian Dollar, US dollar and out of country claims

Let's assume for a moment that our dollar breaks even with the US dollar, or even surpasses it in value.  What will happen with our out of country claims, which are at the same "rate" as TD, etc in country, but at US rates?  Will we then have our claims domestically in US dollars and out of country in CA dollars? (just kidding).

I just thought of this today, since I usually "make money" on US trips, by the simple virtue of the exchange rate.  I also thought of it since the dollar is up over the 90 cent mark (vis a vis the US dollar).
