I know a lot of members were/are asking about this CAF Racial Discrimination Class Action since it went to Court last July 2024 and I have an update today straight from the Law Firm itself below:

We will be providing an update on January 10, 2025. This update will be sent to all class members added to our internal registry and posted on our designated webpage: www.forcesaction.com.

Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Best regards,

Thank you for the update, I didn’t put my name when everything started last year, but during my military service, I was affected by racial discrimination and harassment. Do I have the right to include myself in this class action?

Thank you

John

Yes, definitely. I would send an email to the Law Firm Stewart McKelvey with your Service number, etc and have your name added. I am hoping this update on Fri, 10 January will be the one stating that we can now officially submit a claim. Fingers crossed.

The law firm handling the Racial Discrimination Class Action Lawsuit (Stewart McKelvey) said that at this stage, there is nothing required of you in order to participate in the class action. The claims process has not yet opened, and they are simply collecting individual's names and contact information in order to keep them updated as the class action progresses. Although not required at this time, they'll be pleased to add your name and contact details to their registry. In that way, they will add you to any email updates that might be sent out about the status of the proposed settlement and your rights and options going forward.

They encourage interested parties to visit www.forcesaction.com. This is a designated website with detailed information, and which will also be updated with additional information as it becomes available.

They can be reached at:
