Accommodation for Ex-CF Servicemen in Washington, DC?

I'm toying with taking a trip to Washington DC for a conference in mid-July, and I was wondering whether there are organizations that offer reasonably affordable accommodations to ex-military (in my case, former Canadian military - reserve).  At CF bases, I know there used to be transient quarters available at pretty cheap rates (used them as recently as two years ago in Trenton) - I'm looking for an equivalent in DC.  Where can I start looking, and what proof of service would I need?

If you were currently serving, you’d be eligible for Pri 2 at these, as an ex-member I think you are out of luck.  You could always contact the location you’re interested and ask though.
