Well I have my medical booked for tomorrow and a new interview (by phone) booked for Thursday. I *may* get my offer by the end of the week. Thanks everyone who responded!

Well I took your suggestion (thanks!) and called the officer who originally told me I was selected. Unfortunately I got his voicemail and did not hear back before the end of the day. I'm call again tomorrow afternoon if I don't hear anything earlier.

Last Tuesday I was informed by an officer at the CFRC that I had been selected for DEO MARS, to start BMOQ on 1 Sept. However as my medical has expired I would need to pass that again before the official offer can be made. He told me that a clerk would call me in the next couple days to arrange...

I was also unofficially told I'm in today!  :o :o ;D ;D Supposed to get the official offer in the next couple of days, and going to BMOQ 1 September!

I called my CFRC today and he said something about someone in Ottawa doing something with my file - said he's going to call tomorrow possibly with good news! COULD THIS BE IT!?! Also changing my secondary to ACSO and tertiary to Aerospace Control Officer.

Does anyone know if they will be hiring any more MARS Officers this FY?

Update! My LRC called me this morning to check-in and ask for my transcript to be sent in (I hadn't graduated yet when I sent it in; I since have).  Apparently 28 spots are open for MARS in FY 2014.  When I saw they called me, my heart leapt out of my throat! I think DAA's prediction that MARS...

Oh.  Well the "April of after" is from my understanding, not what the CFRC said to me. Fingers crossed for February then!

Many thanks for the info.  I talked to my CFRC today and they said it's closed for FY 2013 so maybe I'll hear something in April or after.

Does anyone know if MARS is closed for the current ongoing selection? The CF website lists it as "Now Hiring"
