Now, I am going away for my SQ/QL3 this summer and I was wondering, how they seperate the troops, will they take like 2 or three from each unit and make a 40 person platoon with different people from different regiments or will they keep us as our units? If anyone could let me know how it works...

Just wondering, I know that infantry Regiments have a recce detatchment, but do engineer regiments, and armoured regiments have recce detatchments aswell? and if so how do they select the soldiers to be in that detachment? :cdn:

I'm new to the Engineer Regiment, and was wondering what the training is like for reserves over the summer, like PT wise and learning about how to use the engineer equipment and such, if you guy or girls could help explain to me just what happens over the summer, that would be great!
