    Chit note avoid PT???

So if someone gets seriously injured during training, say a torn ACL or broken leg...they will get released and not re-coursed after treatment??  I also read somewhere that the maximum amount of time someone can be on PAT on injury is for 30 days...so if you break a leg or tear something, you'll...

    Chit note avoid PT???

I was reading old threads and came across someone who said recruits are exempt from PT during parts of training if they have a chit note (assuming some sort of medical note) and that they still continue on with their training course.  If one can't do PT wouldn't the military discharge you?? ...

    BMOQ---how is PT??

How is PT at BMOQ??  How many push-ups and sit-ups do we do everyday??  I hear 13% of the course is physical training, so that's around 2.5-3 hours a day (in 18 hour schedule, 5am-11pm).  Just curious how they run that portion of the day?

BMQ / BMOQ - Medical, Dental, Mental health questions [Merged]

Well if I report the injury will they recourse me to another date or do you think I'll be merit listed again?  I've already sworn in and everything...and I guess signed all the paperwork.  Could I get released for an injury?

BMQ / BMOQ - Medical, Dental, Mental health questions [Merged]

What happens if someone gets injured before going to BMOQ?  Are you put back on the merit list again or put on the next training session?  Further, for PT standards, are we allowed to do pushups on our knuckles?  I get wrist pain when doing large repetitions on my palms and was cusious whether...

    May BMOQ?

The next BMOQ is in May.  When does the military start giving job offers for those training sessions?  I was merit listed and was not selected to go for Jan, but hoping I can make it for May, just wondering when people start getting offers?

merit listed? any chance for Jan BMOQ?

I did a search.  But I wanted to know whether or not I still have a chance at the Jan 09 BMOQ?  I figured that since I didn't get an offer I got passed over for Jan and hence that's why I was merit listed...but I'm not quite sure.  Is everyone who is deemed qualified for a position put on the...

The Grip Strength Superthread- Read Here First

I am worried about my grip strength.  I am male, have small hands and small forearms.  I can do the pushup, sit-up, and cardio requirements with ease.  However, I'm worried about the grip strength.  There is no way for me to measure myself prior to military training.  I was told you could...

    BMOQ failure rate?

I was wondering what the failure rate is at BMOQ?  I was told by someone today that it is just over 50%.  I thought that number was rather high, but then again I haven't read anything to tell me otherwise.  What do you guys think?

    BMOQ question

I was just wondering how the course work is at BMOQ?  Is it mostly reading, understanding, and tests or is it mostly presentations?  I'm just asking b/c I studied chemistry in undergrad and am use to doing studying, understanding and writing tests....not use to doing presentations at all.
