    C7 Pam on Line

I updated the thread that recceguy points to. I gave links and specific directions on how to find that PAM. Here is my response in that thread. http://forums.army.ca/forums/threads/32298/post-888510.html#msg888510

    C7 weapon drills

I found the PAM in the Army Electronic Library Publications Explorer http://armyapp.dnd.ca/ael/Publications.aspx, and then clicked on "Weapons and Equipment - Technical" http://armyapp.dnd.ca/ael/Documents.aspx?subcat=11. I then scrolled around to find what I needed. Here is the actual link to...

Yeah, that works for me. Thanks for pointing out your province. I didn't think to check.

Yes, it's way that the question starts with "Is" instead of "Are". Giving the students a chance to ask questions is a good thing. Every teacher/instructor should give students a chance to ask questions. Maybe it's just the people in my province.

http://forums.army.ca/forums/threads/34712/post-697696.html#msg697696 You even replied to the message. I didn't specifically say it, but the story seems to indicate that I wasn't rattled, wouldn't you agree?

Okay. All the instructors are in the same province, and all of them seemed to speak English as a first language, and they consistently asked it in the same way. I even asked if this was a military way of asking that question. Consistently, all across the board, they said that it was bad...

You don't have to join this conversation. Nobody does. You are comparing education and intelligence. I am not. Maybe my statistics are wrong. I'll trust you if you say that the average person doesn't go on to college/university. If my statistics are wrong, then I'll just take back what I said...

Did you read what I said earlier in the discussion? I'd like to think that I already indicated that I treated it like noise.

I wouldn't say that they are the dumbest. They are definitely quite smart. They aren't the most articulated. They should be more articulated. That could reduce the amount of swearing, and allow them to speak clearly about the various topics. There were many times when I didn't understand them...

I agree that the world needs tougher people. I think that they need to be exposed to more adversity. They need to know what it means to suffer without any long term consequences. I was on the train this week. A woman was complaining about the seats in Comfort class, aboard Via's Canadian. I...

Thank you, everybody, for your answers. I'm fairly okay in French, and would be willing to learn French. Would I be good enough to get on a French course?

Does this mean that I'm almost guaranteed to get on a course, if I join the Reg Forces?

    Supply Tech - merged

I'm jealous. I couldn't get on course. My chain of command said that BC is only allowed to send 3 supply techs to course. What's the point of joining the forces if we can't get trained? I wasn't getting along well with my chain of command & I can't help but wonder if he just didn't want me to...

The Via Rail Promotion For CF Members Thread

I will say that I am partially sorry, because even when I reread the sentence, I still misread the context. However, I still think that it is up to Via Rail to choose what to do here. They have their own costs and promotions and what have you. However, I still stand by what I said. When I read...

The thing is that if you insist on these older vets getting free rides in sleeper class, then you're really arguing about prices. As it is right now, they can still take sleeper class, but they just can't do it for free. That's all. Why should I go into a Legion and then tell them that they...

Why should I? Should I also look him in the eye and then tell him that he doesn't deserve free clothes from The Bay? Should I tell him that he doesn't derserve free food from Superstore? Should I tell him that he is old? What I should tell him that is true? Just because it's true, doesn't mean...

The Via Rail Promotion For CF Members Thread

Thank you for sharing with us your experiences. I've always wondered how these promotions get people into a new habit of doing things. It seems that it is a good opportunity to interact with a company that we don't usually interact with, and by time the interaction is over, it is a simple step...

I agree with both of you, in that we should be more greatful. It's free! Nobody has a right to complain. Via is like the CF, in that it has a tight budget.

I hope to take the train during the weekends, since I'll be on course in Borden in July. I suspect that the seats are all reserved already. That's okay. It's a good chance for other people to sample the trains. I'm already a satisfied customer. I took the train across the country twice. The...
